Can I get started immediately after registering?

Yes. However, you must first create a “location” and an admin “user” to be able to manage parking spaces. Following this, you can create and release parking spaces, and add them to a location and user. If you now create additional users, these can reserve the created parking spaces.

Can the email notifications to users be personalised?

The feedback notification can be adjusted by the system administrator. For technical reasons, the other messages cannot be individually adapted.

How can I create locations?

As a system administrator, you can create new locations under “Locations” -> “Create location”.

How can I create parking spaces?

To create a parking space, go to “Parking spaces” -> “Create parking space”. However, you first have to create a “location” to be able to create a parking space.

How can I create users?

As a system administrator, you can create new users under “Users” -> “Create user”. A welcome message must be sent to the user after creation.

How can I import locations?

To create multiple locations, you can choose the .CSV import as a system administrator. To this end, a sample file is available to you under “Locations” -> “Location list” in the web application, which you can download, adapt and upload again.

How can I import parking spaces?

To create multiple parking spaces, you can choose the .CSV import as a system administrator. To this end, a sample file is available to you under “Parking spaces” in the web application, which you can download, adapt and upload again.

How can I import users?

To create multiple users, you can choose the .CSV import as a system administrator. To this end, a sample file is available to you under “Users” -> “User list” in the web application, which you can download, adapt and upload again.

I am registered with several companies with different mail addresses. How can I combine my users?

If you have multiple logins with different email addresses, you can combine these while retaining one (1) email address.

In which languages is Park-Local available?

All Park-Local services are currently offered in German, French, Italian and English. Additional languages are in the pipeline.

What is a location?

A location is a geographical address which contains one or more parking spaces (parking slots) to be managed. A location can be defined using an address or a geo-tag.

Which system requirements must be met in order to operate Park-Local?

Park-Local is a web application (SaaS) with an extension in the form of a mobile app. To use the web application, all you need is a PC with a browser and Internet access, and for the app a smartphone with iOS 8 or higher, Android 5 or a tablet such as iPad 2 or higher.
